A Girl’s Guide to Landing a Greek God

A Girl’s Guide to Landing a Greek God

Book 1, The Mythmaker Series

Can a girl from Queens who loves baseball, U2 and discount Manolos find happily ever after with an honest-to-goodness Greek god? Angie Costianes certainly hopes so.

When Angie’s big fat Greek wedding goes bust, her grandmother sends her on a mysterious trip to Greece. Before Angie can say “Oh my God,” she’s flying a winged horse alongside Milos, a descendant of the original Greek gods, and finding love in his arms.

But if she’s to have any hope of hanging onto Milos, she’ll have to battle monsters, both reptilian and lipsticked, and go toe-to-toe with Zeus himself.

The Forever Year

The Forever Year

Historical Fiction

The epic love story you never knew…

The Roaring Twenties:  Pool rooms, dance halls, speakeasies.

A legendary football hero whose devil-may-care charm belies a tortured soul. A beautiful girl who strains at the bonds imposed by a straitlaced father.

Meet George Gipp and Iris Trippeer, whose love burned brighter than a comet in a pitch-black sky, only to be cut short by a tragedy that rocked the nation.

The Forever Year is inspired by the heartbreaking true story of how one headstrong girl claimed the heart of an American icon.

Welcome to my site!

Greetings, fellow readers,

2016 is going to be an exciting year for me, and hopefully for my readers as well. After more than twenty-five years as a television writer, I’ve embarked on a new mission, writing fiction. I’ll have two novels coming out in 2016, one in April and the other in June.

I like to think my books bear some resemblance to the work I did in comedy over the years on shows like Newhart, Night Court, Living Single and Hope & Faith. While both novels are about relatively serious subjects—the star-crossed romance between a legendary football player and the strait-laced girl who tamed him, and the otherworldly romantic adventures of a woman from Queens and a Greek god—both have large doses of humor. I hope they’ll make for compelling, entertaining reads.

Check out the descriptions of the two books. I’d venture to say they’ll appeal to you whether you’re male, female, a reader of romance or good-old fashioned adventure. My April release is available for pre-order, making it the ideal Valentine’s Day gift, in my humble opinion.

Happy 2016 to all of us!

A quote from one of my favorite authors:

“Writing isn’t about making money, getting famous, getting dates, getting laid, or making friends. In the end, it’s about enriching the lives of those who will read your work, and enriching your own life, as well. It’s about getting up, getting well, and getting over. Getting happy, okay? Getting happy.”
